My name is Jacqueline Clark. I am a clinical psychologist working in Cape Town, South Africa. I have a special interest in working with children and adolescents but I also work with adults.
I offer both short and long term therapy.

About
I have a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology (cum laude) from Stellenbosch University.
I completed my internship through Valkenberg Hospital, working at both Groote Schuur (in Psychiatric Emergencies and the Out-Patient unit) and Valkenberg.
I completed my community service through the City of Cape Town, working in HIV/TB clinics throughout the city.
I have also completed two certificate courses in play therapy through Dr. Hannie Schoeman
Prior to this I qualified as a Primary School teacher at the University of Cape Town, and obtained my Masters Degree in the Philosophy of Education. I have worked as both a high school and primary school teacher in various contexts, including Sea Point Primary and Reddam House.
My research has focused on peer mentor support for pregnant mothers in a low income setting, and the conceptualization of identity in adolescents.
